WC0801 Work with Native American Communities: Lessons Learned from Indian Country

Description 
This course focuses on successful design processes used for the development of several historic, entertainment, and commercial sites done with the Point Gamble S'Klallam tribe. A tribal museum entrance with the Tulalip tribe of Puget Sound and the Battle Point Historic Site and Culture Education Center of the Leech Lake Band of the Ojibwe in Minnesota are included. The social, cultural, and physical components of this American Indian culture are discussed.
